Andrew Hansen is a Cyber Security Consultant at Rapid7 since October 2022, managing security advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients while driving retention and growth. Previously, as a Cyber Threat Analyst at Darktrace from August 2020 to October 2022, Andrew monitored a global Security Operations Center, analyzed alerts, and authored comprehensive reports on cybersecurity incidents and trends. Early career experiences include a Compliance Intern role at Kyriba, a Data Analyst position at LabCorp, and management internships at the California State Board of Equalization and the Public Utilities Department Customer Support Division. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Cyber Security from the University of San Diego, a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and International Relations from San Diego State University, a Certificate in Chinese Business and Politics from East China Normal University, and an Associate's Degree in Business Studies from San Diego Mesa College.
