Chris Cooper is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in performance testing, automation, and backend development. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2007, Chris began an internship at Zubuk in 2006. Following this, a role as a Performance Engineer at RSA The Security Division of EMC was undertaken from 2007 to 2012. Chris then joined Resilient, an IBM Company, where responsibilities included serving as Senior Software Engineer and Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, focusing on backend web services in Java, mentoring junior developers, and designing test infrastructures. As a Software Architect, Chris acted as the technical lead for IBM SOAR. Most recently, Chris has held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Noetic Cyber from August 2021 to July 2024 and has been the Lead Software Engineer at Rapid7 since July 2024.
