Ciaran Conliffe

Ciaran Conliffe is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in security architecture and software engineering. Currently serving as the Director for BSides Belfast and the Lead Security Architect at Rapid7, Ciaran has been instrumental in addressing significant security challenges, including leading the internal remediation response to log4shell and developing security methodologies. Previous experience includes a long tenure at Liberty IT, where Ciaran held positions ranging from Placement Software Engineer to Technologist, contributing to various cybersecurity initiatives and leading teams in software development. Additionally, Ciaran has been a columnist for HeadStuff.org since 2014. Ciaran holds a BSc in Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast.
