Corey E. Thomas

Corey Thomas serves as Chairman and CEO of Rapid7, a position held since November 2008, overseeing the company's business and technology functions including sales, marketing, engineering, and operations. In addition to this role, Corey is a Board Member at LPL Financial and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and a member of the Board of Trustees at Vanderbilt University. Corey co-founded Pillar VC, a seed-stage venture capital firm, where founding pillars play advisory roles to portfolio companies. Previous experience includes positions at Parallels as Vice President, Microsoft Corp as Group Product Manager, and Deloitte Consulting as Consultant. Corey holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BE in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
