Cynthia Stanton

Cindy Stanton leads the VRM Practice at Rapid7, which includes product, engineering, and go-to-customer, in support of the vulnerability management, application security, and offensive security solutions. Prior to Practice Leader for VRM, she led Product Marketing.

Before joining Rapid7, Cindy developed the Public Cloud and Federal Government business at Qualys. She also led Commercial Product Management at Alert Logic, developing SaaS and managed services to secure public cloud and hybrid workloads. Prior to Alert Logic, she spent 10 years in global product management at Verizon Business building out the Security Services portfolio. She began her career in security as the Operations Director at a boutique security firm in London providing application assessment and managed security services to financial services, oil and gas, and retail organizations.

Cindy has an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College in Biology and a Masters of Engineering degree from the Engineering Systems Division at MIT.
