David Coleman

David Coleman is an experienced professional in the field of sales engineering and IT infrastructure, currently serving as the Director of Sales Engineering for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region at Rapid7 since August 2019. Prior to this, David held various roles at Telstra, including Managing Security Solution Architect and Senior Security Solution Architect, focusing on managed security services and customer success across the APAC region. David's earlier experience includes significant contributions at Dimension Data as a Security Solutions Architect and at the City of Port Phillip, where roles ranged from IT Infrastructure Coordinator to Acting IT Manager, overseeing strategic development and support for a large IT department. Notably, David led a major global infrastructure project for a financial institution while at Dimension Data, implementing an extensive Endpoint Security Suite across multiple countries.
