David Roesel is a lead software engineer with a strong background in physics, currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Oryl Photonics since 2021. They have previously held positions as a postdoctoral researcher at the J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry CAS and as a junior researcher at the Institute of Photonics and Electronics, Czech Academy of Sciences. David also contributed to software engineering at Czech Vacuum, where they managed the development of control software for vacuum instruments.
