Declan Clancy

Declan Clancy has over 25 years of work experience in the technology industry. Declan currently holds the position of Lead Platform Delivery Engineer (DevOps) at Rapid7, where they have been working since January 2022. Prior to this, Declan worked as a Senior Platform Delivery Engineer (DevOps) at Rapid7 from October 2016 to September 2019, and then from September 2019 to December 2021. Before joining Rapid7, they were employed at Openet as a Lead Engineer from June 2013 to January 2016 and as a Senior Software Test Engineer from February 2011 to May 2013. Declan also worked as a Senior QA Engineer at Avaya from April 2006 to September 2010, a Senior Software Engineer at Headway Software from August 2005 to April 2006, and a Senior Web Developer at Wexford County Council from June 2003 to June 2005. Additionally, they gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Sabre Airline Solutions from February 2000 to February 2002, a Senior Software Engineer at Cambridge Technology Partners from September 1997 to February 2000, and a Junior Software Developer at CRH from April 1996 to September 1996. Declan began their career as a Junior Software Developer at Cardo AB from June 1995 to August 1995.
