Sr. Technical Account Manager at Rapid7

Jourdan James has a diverse work experience in the field of technical support and administration. They started their career as an Information Technology Assistant at CarLotz in December 2014 and later became an Information Technology Administrator in July 2015. In July 2016, they transitioned to Virginia Commonwealth University, where they served as a Google Workspace Administrator. In this role, Jourdan was responsible for maintaining the Workspace environment, providing support to users, and planning and executing training sessions. In October 2019, Jourdan joined Rapid7 as a Technical Support Engineer, where they utilized their product expertise to resolve customer issues and identify enhancement opportunities. Recently, in August 2021, they were promoted to the position of Senior Technical Account Manager at Rapid7, where their responsibilities include building and maintaining strategic partnerships with key customers and managing operational and technical requests.

Jourdan James completed a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems, with a specialization in General Management Information Systems, from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2019. Prior to that, Jourdan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, with a focus on Information Technology, also from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Jourdan became a Metasploit Pro Certified Specialist through Rapid7 in February 2020. Furthermore, Jourdan obtained certifications as an InsightVM Certified Administrator and Nexpose Certified Administrator from Rapid7 in November 2019.
