Marc Brown

Marc Brown is a seasoned investment professional and corporate executive with extensive experience in private equity and board governance. Currently serving as Partner and Head of EQT Growth Equity since October 2020, Marc also holds key roles as Trustee and Chair of the Investment Committee at Choate Rosemary Hall and as a board member for several companies, including Rapid7 and Tamr. Notably, Marc was the Corporate Vice President of Corporate Development at Microsoft Corporation from 2000 to 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing global mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments. Marc's educational background includes a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, complemented by an AB in Economics from Colgate University.
