Mark Beattie

Mark Beattie, CISSP, has extensive experience in cybersecurity and technology, currently serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor at Rapid7 since May 2017 after holding various roles including Lead Security Consultant and Security Consultant. Prior experience includes working at WhiteHat Security as a Technical Escalation Engineer and Application Security Specialist, and at the University of Ulster, where responsibilities included managing technology deployments and developing android applications as a Research Associate. Mark also contributed as a Part-Time Lecturer at the University of Ulster. Earlier in his career, Mark worked at Intel Corporation as a Server Operations Engineer, involved in technical support, server maintenance, and project coordination. Mark holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Ulster University.
