Matthew LaRue has over 16 years of work experience. Matthew is currently working at Rapid7 as a Lead Security Governance Analyst starting from March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta as a Senior IT GRC Analyst from June 2020 to March 2022. Before that, they had various roles at State Farm, including Scrum Master from July 2018 to June 2020, IT Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst from July 2017 to July 2018, Supervisor - License Risk and Compliance from January 2016 to June 2017, Supervisor - Claims Licensing from May 2014 to January 2016, Catastrophe Staff Assistant from August 2009 to May 2014, and Fire Claims Adjuster from November 2005 to August 2009.

Matthew LaRue began their education in 1999 at the University of Central Florida, where they pursued a degree in Political Science. Matthew completed their studies in 2004. In 2014, Matthew attended The Institutes for Insurance Education, where they obtained a degree in Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. Matthew continued their education in 2016 at LOMA, earning a degree in Fellow, Life Management Institute in 2018.
