Paul Barrett

Paul Barrett has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Paul began their career as a Programmer Analyst and Technical Consultant at Hewlett-Packard from August 2002 to October 2005. After that, they worked as a self-employed Web Designer and Developer from March 2006 to October 2012. Following this, they joined JamPot Technologies Ltd as a Web UI Application Developer for a brief period from October 2012 to January 2013. In February 2013, they started their own business again as a self-employed Web Designer and Developer. In April 2013, they briefly worked as a Software Developer at Omnisoft Services Ltd. From November 2013 to January 2016, they worked as a UI Software Engineer at CME Group. Their next role was at Rapid7, where they worked as a Senior UI Developer from January 2016 to February 2020, and later became a Lead Software Engineer from February 2020 to the present time.

Paul Barrett has obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computing with a Diploma in Industrial Studies from Ulster University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Paul then pursued further education at Heriot-Watt University, where they attained an MSc degree in Distributed & Multimedia Information Systems from 1999 to 2001.
