Paul Hunter is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering roles. Since May 2018, Paul has advanced through various positions at Rapid7, culminating in the role of Principal Software Engineer. Prior to this, Paul worked at Blue Zinc IT from September 2015 to April 2018 as a Software Test Engineer and Technical Client Consultant, and at DTL Security Solutions from December 2011 to September 2015 as a CCTV Forensics analyst, utilizing specialized software for analysis. An early experience with BT Ireland in late 2014 involved shadowing the head of applications. Paul holds a Master’s Degree in Software Development from Queen's University Belfast and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Studies from the University of South Wales.
