Philip Herr

Philip Herr is a seasoned cybersecurity professional, currently serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor at Rapid7 since 2022. Prior to this role, Philip held various positions at Exelon from February 2015 to 2022, including Security Governance Supervisor and Cyber Security Operations Supervisor, where Philip managed the Cyber Defense Monitoring Team, developed job qualification standards, and implemented new procedures for operational efficiency. Philip's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Cyber Analyst in the US Navy from October 2007 to February 2015, overseeing a team of over 30 analysts and directing Offensive Cyber Operations. Philip also gained foundational experience as a Computer Technician at Olivet Nazarene University in 2007. Philip earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 2013 and 2023.
