Richard Tsang

Richard Tsang has had a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Richard began their career at IBM Canada Ltd. in 2007, where they held various roles in DB2 development, runtime development, performance, pureScale performance, and WebSphere benchmarks and solutions development. In 2015, Richard joined Rapid7 as a Software Engineer II and progressed to become a Senior Software Engineer, Lead Software Engineer, and currently, a Software Engineering Manager. In their current role, Richard is responsible for driving the growth and improvement of multiple teams, ensuring transparent and measurable results, and exploring non-traditional avenues for cross-organization growth.

Richard Tsang attended Western University from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Engineering Science in Software Engineering.
