Samuel Cantrell

Samuel Cantrell, MS, CEH, ITIL, is a seasoned professional in security solutions engineering with extensive experience in both military and technical environments. Currently serving as Manager of Security Solutions Engineering at Rapid7 since October 2017, Samuel provides senior-level support to junior engineers and manages larger accounts while validating the alignment of security solutions with customer needs. Previously, as a Sales Engineer at Pwnie Express, Samuel developed and managed a sales engineering process and demonstrated the technical value of products to enterprise clients. Prior military experience includes serving as a Military Cyber Electronic Warfare Supervisor, where Samuel supervised personnel and provided strategic consultations on cyber electromagnetic systems, and as Operations Officer in the US Army, overseeing large teams and complex operations. Samuel holds a Master’s Degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance from National University and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M International University.
