Stephen Davis has extensive work experience in various technical roles. Stephen started their career in 2002 as a Small Computer Systems Specialist in the United States Marine Corps, where they maintained systems and deployed equipment for field operations. Stephen then joined AOL, LLC in 2005 as a Desktop Support Technician, responsible for software and hardware installations and troubleshooting. In 2007, they transitioned to a role as a Tech Support Engineer and Executive Support, providing technical assistance to employees.

In 2010, Stephen joined Mission Essential as a Systems Administrator II, where they provided guidance to junior IT team members and offered technical support to both CONUS and OCONUS employees. Stephen worked at Mission Essential until 2017.

Since 2017, Stephen has been with Rapid7, where they initially served as a Technical Lead - Managed Detection & Response. Stephen provided advisory services to over 50 MDR customers, building and maintaining relationships with them. In 2021, Stephen transitioned to the role of D&R Lead Sales Technical Advisor, which they held until 2023.

Stephen Davis completed high school at Woodson High School and obtained a high school diploma in 2001. During this time, they studied government and lab sciences. Additionally, Stephen attended Northern Virginia Community College from 2000 to 2001, where they pursued a high school degree in government and lab sciences as well.

These include the Application of ATT&CK Navigator certification from AttackIQ in August 2022, the Introduction to EASY Framework for Intelligence certification from AttackIQ in March 2021, the Foundations of Operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK certification from AttackIQ in January 2021, the InsightIDR Certified Specialist certification from Rapid7 in December 2017, the Comptia Security + certification from CompTIA in October 2016, the Veeam Availability Suite V9: Technical Overview certification from Veeam Software in February 2016, the CloudU Certification from Rackspace in July 2015, the Backup Academy Certified Professional certification from Veeam Software in July 2014, the VMware Certified Associate - Cloud certification from VMware in November 2013, the VMware Certified Associate - Data Center Virtualization certification from VMware in November 2013, the VMware Certified Associate - Workforce Mobility certification from VMware in November 2013, and the MCP: Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft in June 2008.
