Tomer Ben-Dror

Tomer Ben-Dror has extensive work experience, starting in 2006 as a Software Developer at Amdocs. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Java Developer and scrum master at Harmonic (acquired Scopus). From 2012 to 2013, they were a Senior Java Developer at applango. Tomer then joined FeeX - Robin Hood of Fees in 2013 as a Senior Java Backhand Engineer and scrum master, where they worked until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Senior Software Team Leader at Thomson Reuters. After that, they worked at Refinitiv (formerly Thomson Reuters) as an R&D Line Manager, leading 3 global cross-functional teams. In 2021, they became the Director of Engineering at Clearco. Next, they worked at Papaya Global as an Infrastructure Team Leader from March 2022 to December 2022, and as an Infra & DevOps Group Manager from December 2022 to April 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Software Engineering at Rapid7, starting in April 2023.

Tomer Ben-Dror has a diverse education history in the field of computer science. Tomer obtained a Practical Engineer degree in Computer Software Engineering from Hadassah between 2001 and 2003. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from an unspecified school, completing it between 2003 and 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Tomer has also obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Other certifications include "AWS Certified Developer - Associate 2020" from Udemy in July 2021, "Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach" from Coursera in August 2020, "Programming with Google Go Specialization" from Coursera in April 2020, and "scala-reactiveX: Programming Reactive Systems" from edX in May 2019.
