~ Nolan Thomas ~

Nolan Thomas has a strong background in data engineering and database administration. ~ Nolan is currently working as a Senior Data Engineer at RapidAI, where they are responsible for the conversion and development of the Insights product on Snowflake DB. ~ Nolan works closely with software engineering and BI teams to ensure data availability and is also involved in providing level 3 support and performing root cause analysis. Prior to this, Nolan worked as an ETL Engineer at Slacker, supporting the enterprise analytics team and handling a large volume of daily ETL events. ~ Nolan also has experience as an Oracle Database Administrator at Scientific Research Corporation and as a Lead Software/Data Engineer and Database Administrator at HERAE. Earlier in their career, Nolan worked in database application development at UCSD and as a Programmer/Analyst IV at the University of California San Diego. ~ Nolan has also held positions as a Senior Java Programmer at HERAE and as a Software Engineer at FGM Inc. and Litton PRC. Nolan has expertise in various technologies and programming languages such as Python, Perl, Talend, PL/SQL, Java, and Oracle.

Nolan Thomas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the Florida Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1992. ~ Nolan then pursued a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Data Science and Engineering from UC San Diego, which they completed in 2018. In addition to their academic degrees, Nolan obtained a certification as an Oracle Certified Associate from Oracle in February 2012.
