Matthew Evans

Matt has been in software engineering for nearly 25 years, focusing on web application and API development in the retail, e-commerce, travel, and financial services sectors. During that time, he worked with distributed teams in Cape Town, London, and India in software engineering, team lead, architecture, and management roles.

He has been involved in most aspects of software and IT management from software engineering to infrastructure and systems design, business continuity, and disaster recovery. He has worked with IT risk and remediation frameworks, and general IT strategy and is interested in cloud and big-data architecture, machine learning, and the bleeding edge of web browser capabilities.
