Ben Piggot

Ben Piggot is a Senior Software Engineer at RapidScale since August 2023, with extensive experience in software development across multiple organizations. Prior to RapidScale, Ben worked as a Software Developer at Logicworks, where responsibilities included the development of web applications utilizing technologies such as Python and AWS services. Additional roles span from software development at Cellar Door Media LLC and TPM Media LLC to a foundational position as a Web Developer at General Assembly. Ben's earlier experience includes research and analysis roles at the Port of Seattle in various capacities, and academic roles as an Adjunct Professor at Tacoma Community College and a College Instructor at the University of Washington. Ben holds a PhD in History and Urban Studies from the University of Washington, a Web Development Immersive certificate from General Assembly, and a BA in English and History from McGill University.
