Jay Allred

Jay Allred serves as a Cloud Architect at RapidScale since January 2019, focusing on the maintenance, reliability, and security of infrastructure for clients and partners. Previous roles include President and chief blogger at IT Renovation Inc. from June 2013 to January 2019, where Jay provided resources on cloud technology for users and IT professionals. As a Senior Systems Specialist and Cloud Advocate at BizCom Global from October 2007 to January 2019, Jay worked with small to mid-sized businesses on Internet Marketing and Cloud Technology solutions. Earlier experience includes Managing Network Engineering at Computer Service Partners and roles as a Network Engineer, overseeing network support for SMBs. Jay holds a B.A. in Music from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, completed between 1989 and 1993.
