John Hinton

John Hinton has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as a Flooring Installer at Gravity Unlimited Inc. John then worked as a Microsoft Consultant at Best Buy from June 2013 to December 2014, where they focused on finding appropriate solutions for customers and meeting sales goals. In 2014, they transitioned to an Android Developer role at Suncoast Social, where they used an agile design approach and assisted in designing REST APIs. From October 2015 to February 2016, they worked as an Android Developer at Bytemark, Inc., where they developed mobile payment and ticketing solutions with a clean architecture. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at RapidSOS since February 2016. In this role, they maintain and develops Android SDKs and utilities, and has also created the RapidSOS Haven app for Android.

John Hinton obtained their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Programming and Analysis from the State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota. John attended this college from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, in June 2015, John obtained the CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA.
