Michael Heneka serves as the Senior Director of Product at RapidSOS since January 2022, leading a global team of over 40 in managing the Responder vertical portfolio, which includes IamResponding and RapidSOS UNITE functionalities. Previously, Michael held the position of Director of Product, focusing on responder-facing workflows and defining product direction for critical tools supporting public safety professionals. Michael also transitioned into a leadership role as Lead Technical Project Manager during the acquisition of IamResponding, bridging startup agility with enterprise infrastructure. Before RapidSOS, Michael contributed to the growth of IamResponding.com from a startup to a leading alerting platform for first responders, supporting significant deployments across North America. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Empire State University and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Human Computer Interaction at the State University of New York at Oswego.
