Samantha M. has extensive work experience in emergency management and 911 projects. Samantha currently holds the position of Strategic Program Director at RapidSOS since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Business Owner of Murrell Consulting LLC starting from 2021. Previously, Samantha worked at RapidDeploy as the Head of Enterprise Projects from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they held roles at State of Utah as a 911 Project Manager from 2017 to 2019, and at Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management as a 911 & Mass Notification Program Manager from 2015 to 2017. Samantha's career began at Polk County Emergency Management Agency as a 911 Coordinator and Emergency Management Specialist from 2011 to 2015.

Samantha M. has a diverse education history. In 2005, they started their undergraduate studies at the University of Leeds, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography. Samantha completed their studies in 2008.

Building on their undergraduate degree, Samantha M. enrolled in American Public University in 2010 to pursue a Master's degree in Emergency Management. Samantha successfully completed their degree program in 2011.

Continuing their education, Samantha M. attended the Naval Postgraduate School in 2017. Samantha participated in the Center for Homeland Defense and Security's Emergence Program, focusing on Homeland Security. This program lasted for the duration of one year.

In addition to their formal education, Samantha M. has obtained several certifications. In 2010, they obtained various certifications through FEMA, including IS-100, 200, 300, 400, 700, 800, and 860. In 2011, they achieved the FEMA Professional Development Series certification. Samantha M. also holds the Emergency Number Professional (ENP) certification from NENA: The 9-1-1 Association, which was obtained in 2018. Samantha'smost recent certification is the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in June 2021.
