Michael Schmidt

Michael Schmidt is an experienced architect currently serving as Gesamtleiter Projekte at Rapp AG since 2025. They contributed to significant architectural projects as an Associate and Project Director at Herzog & de Meuron from 2007 to 2024, and previously worked as an Architekt at Barkow Leibinger Architekten from 2002 to 2007. Their professional journey began as a Junior Architect at Rüthnick Architekten Ingenieure from 1999 to 2002, and they also completed an internship at serrao design/architecture. Michael earned a Dipl. Ing. in Architecture from Universität der Künste Berlin and studied architecture at the Bazelel Academy of Arts & Design in Jerusalem.
