Kumar Atre

Kumar Atre has a diverse work experience in the field of design and architecture. Kumar started their career as a Researcher at C-Lab / Volume Magazine, where they assisted in research, writing, and production for a book. In 2009, they joined Diller Scofidio + Renfro as an Associate and eventually became a Design Director. At Diller Scofidio + Renfro, they co-directed the independent projects team and led various projects for prestigious clients. In 2016, Atre worked as the Director of Architecture at 2x4, focusing on brand strategy and experiential design for global clients. Currently, they are working at Rapt Studio as a Design Director.

Kumar Atre attended Cate School from 1999 to 2003, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Following this, they went on to study at Cornell University from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree, specializing in the field of Architecture.
