Dawson Laabs has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Dawson started their career as an intern at Tata Technologies in 2013, where they gained valuable experience. In 2015, they interned at Consumers Energy.

In 2016, Dawson joined Inspire as a Clean Power Sales Specialist, where they successfully expanded sales in deregulated energy markets in the US. Dawson later took on roles as a B2B Account Manager, Senior B2B Account Manager, and SMB Team Lead. Dawson was responsible for sales strategy, Go-To-Market strategy, sales management, and channel sales partnerships. Dawson also implemented channel partner training and sales agent development strategies across all regions and teams.

In 2020, they joined Utopus Insights as a Customer Success Manager, where they managed key accounts and ensured customer satisfaction. Dawson then became a Sales Manager, leading commercial efforts across North America and managing over 20GW+ of active accounts. Utopus Insights is a data-driven energy analytics company that focuses on renewable energy integration.

Currently, Dawson is an Account Director - Enterprise Sales at Raptor Maps, a solar software company. Their role involves offering advanced analytics, insights, and productivity software for the solar industry. Dawson helps asset owners, managers, and other stakeholders standardize and compare data across solar installations to increase performance and reduce risk.

With their extensive experience in sales and renewable energy, Dawson Laabs has developed a strong skill set in strategic sales management, customer success, and renewable energy analytics.

Dawson Laabs pursued their undergraduate education from 2012 to 2016 at Michigan State University. During this time, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability.
