RARE Cannabis Co. is a locally owned cannabis retailer operating two stores in Alberta: our flagship location in Airdrie (opened July 2019) and our Calgary location on Richmond Rd SW, serving Richmond, Killarney, Marda Loop, and surrounding communities. Both stores are licensed by the AGLC.

We built RARE on a simple idea: cannabis retail should be genuinely useful. That means a curated product selection, team members who can speak to what is actually on the shelf, and a shopping experience guided by what you want to feel, not just what a category a product falls into.
The last part led us to develop the Mood Movement, our terpene-forward approach to cannabis selection. Instead of organizing products by Indica or Sativa, we guide customers by terpene profile and intended experience. It is the same system used in all of our stores, and available online.

What we offer:
In-store shopping in Airdrie and Calgary; click and collect: reserve your order online, pick it up in store; same-day local delivery in Calgary and Airdrie (2 hours or less); Alberta-wide cannabis mail order via Xpresspost, fulfilled from our Calgary location; and the RARE Society: our customer appreciation program where you earn points on every visit and redeem them for rewards, offers and RARE merchandise.

We carry dried flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, capsules, accessories, and more, with new products added regularly. We order with a focus on high-terpene profiles and cut products that don't deliver consistent results for our customers. Our menus runs from value to premium: the goal at every price point is the best available option.

RARE Cannabis Co. is AGLC licensed (Calgary License 783886, Airdrie License 779347). You must be 18 or older to purchase cannabis in Alberta.
