Marisa Leaf

Marisa Leaf is a human rights barrister turned entrepreneur and advisor who pursues social good across technology, education, health, finance, and law. They spent eight years as founder and co-CEO of Hubbub, a first-mover in the ecommerce space that enabled local independent food businesses to come online and build local economic resilience. Prior to Hubbub, they worked in human rights law, policy and practice for ten years, with particular expertise in criminal defence rights, counter-terrorism and extradition. They are the founder of Hemisphere Education and advise start-ups and small businesses that solve problems to create long-term good, and they are raising two small children.
