Edward Lo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Edward began their career as a Research Scientist at Harvard Medical School from June 2007 to May 2008. Edward then joined the University of Toronto as an Undergraduate Research Assistant from September 2008 to May 2009. In September 2009, they started working as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Washington, where they stayed until December 2014.
Edward then moved to Fred Hutch, where they held multiple positions. Edward started as a Postdoctoral Fellow in June 2015 and continued in this role until November 2018. Edward also worked as a Business Development and Strategy Fellow from October 2017 to November 2018.
Currently, Edward Lo works at RareCyte, Inc., where they have held various positions. Edward started as a Scientist in November 2018 and worked in this role until January 2021. Edward then advanced to a Senior Scientist position in January 2021 and held this position until January 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Principal Scientist at RareCyte, Inc. from January 2022 onwards.
Edward Lo earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with a focus on Engineering Science, Biomedical option, from the University of Toronto in the period from 2004 to 2009. Edward then pursued further education at the University of Washington from 2009 to 2014 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. In 2018 and 2019, Edward completed a Certificate in Biotechnology Project Management from the University of Washington.
