Heather Barrow

Heather Barrow serves as the Chief Operating Officer at RareGuru, leading the development of a mobile app designed to empower individuals with rare diseases since August 2019. Prior to this role, Barrow founded and directed High Risk Hope, Inc., managing operations and outreach to over 2,000 premature infants and families annually. Barrow also held various leadership positions at The Junior League of Tampa, gaining extensive nonprofit experience while overseeing significant financial resources. Additionally, Barrow taught Accounting at Hillsborough Community College and worked as a Tax Consultant at Ernst & Young, focusing on multi-national tax provisions and corporate tax planning. Barrow holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Florida.
