Simone Alexander

Simone Alexander has a wealth of experience in project and event management. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Project Manager at Rareview. From 2019-2021, they worked as a Program Manager Customer Success at Google. From 2017-2019, they were the Founder of Oleada, a self-funded women's entrepreneurship pilot for migrant and refugee women. From 2017-2019, they were an Events Associate + Project Lead at The Hoxby Collective, where they served as the Project Manager for three active Client programs, totaling $MM+ in projected revenue. From 2016-2017, they worked as an Account Executive at McPherson Strategies. From 2014-2016, they were a Marketing Communications Manager at Endeavor. From 2013-2014, they were a Development Project Manager at the World Science Festival. From 2012-2013, they were an Account Executive at Macy's. Finally, from 2007-2012, they worked as a Project Manager+ Community Organizer and Project Coordinator - TED Fellows at TED Conferences. Additionally, they have been freelancing since 2012, providing strategic partnerships and business development plans for for-profit and non-profit start-ups, producing and creating unique content for live events, creating new revenue stream to diversify stewardship, creating and launching Oleada - a program that provides workshops for marginalized groups and teaches skills like design thinking and presentation skills, and being a brand storyteller for CSR initiatives.

Simone Alexander attended City University of New York-Hunter College, where they earned a BA in Psychology. Simone has also obtained a certification in Agile Project Management from Google in July 2021.
