Mathew Searle

Mathew Searle is the current VP of Finance at Rasa. Prior to this, they were the VP of Finance at Dsco.io from March 2020 to March 2021. Mathew was responsible for leading the strategic vision related to the company's financial needs and for recommending and implementing accounting functions and processes for multi-million revenue sales. Mathew also cultivated a culture of fiscal responsibility in partnership with the executive team, managing financial budgeting, review process, and benchmarking reviews to ensure healthy scalable growth.

Prior to their time at Dsco.io, Searle was the Director of Finance Operations at Instructure from June 2011 to March 2020. In this role, they were responsible for orchestrating financial and accounting processes with two direct reports to scale the business by more than 100% year-over-year revenue growth. Mathew also facilitated cross-functional collaboration with executives to improve overall gross margins and close the gap toward profitability.

Before joining Instructure, Searle was a Client Accountant at McCann Erickson from November 2009 to June 2011.

After receiving their associates degree from Salt Lake Community College, Mathew Searle continued their education at the University of Utah where they received their Bachelor of Science in finance.
