Bethany Atkin has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and organizations. Bethany started their career in 2010 as a Creative Learning Intern at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, where they took on administrative duties and spoke at a conference. Bethany then progressed to become a Creative Learning Assistant, where they were involved in various aspects of the department and delivered workshops for different groups. In 2012, they became a Participation Producer, taking on responsibilities such as leading groups and creating and delivering courses.
In 2014, Bethany joined The Challenge as an Assistant Programme Manager and later moved on to be a Programme Associate Manager. In 2017, they became the Delivery Partner Systems and Innovation/Data & MI Manager, where they managed data and worked on systems and innovation. Bethany remained with The Challenge until 2019.
Currently, Bethany Atkin is working at the Raspberry Pi Foundation as an Executive Assistant to the CEO. Bethany has taken on the role of Business Manager, leveraging their skills and experience in managing various aspects of the business.
Bethany Atkin received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English with Film and Theatre Studies from the University of Reading, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended St Benedict's Upper School from 2002 to 2007, obtaining their A-Level degree. At St Benedict's, they studied General Studies (A), Mathematics (A), English Literature (B), Philosophy & Ethics (B), and Biology. Additionally, Bethany Atkin has obtained additional certifications, including "Goal Setting: Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)" from LinkedIn in January 2022, and "Understanding Information Architecture" from LinkedIn in July 2021.
