Geraint Ballinger

Geraint Ballinger has experience working as a Graduate Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer at Kobalt Music from October 2017 to May 2022. In these roles, they worked on various projects involving the development of Java Swing screens, creation of microservices, and analysis of music metadata using Python. In May 2022, Geraint joined the Raspberry Pi Foundation as an Astro Pi Developer & Deployment Engineer.

Geraint Ballinger began their education at Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr, where they attended secondary school from 2005 to 2010. Geraint then attended Chetham's School of Music from 2010 to 2012 for their secondary school education.

In 2012, Geraint obtained a certification in AMusTCL from Trinity College London.

Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the University of Cambridge, where they studied from 2012 to 2015.

In 2016, Geraint enrolled at UCL and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science in 2017.
