Ian Newton

Ian Newton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in equity capital markets and investment management across various sectors, particularly in technology and media. Currently serving as the Senior Advisor to the CEO and Board at Raspberry Pi and as an Advisor at The 350 Club, Ian is also an Investment Committee Member for ICAEW. Prior roles include Head of Equity Capital Markets at Sand Grove Capital Management LLP, where Ian specialized in companies listing on AIM and the LSE within the £300m to £3bn market capitalization range. Ian's previous positions include leading global equity investment strategies at Platinum Capital Management Limited and managing the Special Situations Fund at James Caird Asset Management. Ian’s educational background includes a Master of Philosophy in Management from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Reading.
