Lestin Liu

Lestin Liu has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on design and verification engineering. Lestin started their career at Huawei Technologies in 2001, where they worked in ASIC-related roles until 2005. Lestin then joined HiSilicon Semi Co., Ltd. in 2004 as an IPD mentor and QA engineer, where they were responsible for defining and refining their design flow. In 2007, Lestin joined Broadcom as a Principal Design Engineer, where they worked until 2014. During this time, they gained significant expertise in design engineering. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Huawei Technologies as a Verification Engineer, where they were part of the verification team for the in-house ARM-V8A custom core and was involved in various AVK-related work. In 2016, Lestin joined Raspberry Pi as a Design Engineer, where they continue to contribute to the development of their silicon products.

Lestin Liu holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Edinburgh, which they obtained from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in 97EE at Fudan University, from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Lestin has also obtained certifications, including "Coaching New Managers," "PHP: Object-Oriented Programming with Databases," and "Small Business Secrets" from LinkedIn in June 2021 and May 2021 respectively.
