Sara Parodi

Sara Parodi has a diverse work experience in graphic design and illustration. Sara started their career as a Graphic Designer at Mercury S.r.l. and Atar Naive S.r.l in 2011, where they designed layouts for catalogs and packaging. Sara then worked as a Graphic Designer at Museo Emanuele Luzzati, creating visual communication for exhibitions. Sara also gained experience as a Graphic Designer and Digital Printer at Design in the City, where they designed print materials and learned digital printing techniques.

In 2014, Sara joined Valpolcevera Residence as an Artistic Entertainer, planning and conducting artistic activities for elderly and psychiatric residents. Sara later worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Savignone City Council, Municipality of Genoa, Culture and Tourism Department, and private clients, handling various design projects in different contexts.

Sara expanded their skills as a Junior Graphic Designer at Horizon Retail Marketing Solutions Ltd, where they created designs for sale displays and worked on multiple design projects. Sara also gained sales experience as a Retail Salesperson at Culinaris.

Prior to that, Sara worked as a Waitress and Staff Trainer at Nando's UK & IRE, where they gained customer service and training skills.

Currently, Sara is working as a Graphic Designer at Raspberry Pi since 2022, where they focus on creating graphics and designs.

Throughout their career, Sara has demonstrated a passion for art, illustration, and design, constantly experimenting with new techniques and tools. Sara has also developed strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Sara Parodi has a diverse education history. Sara obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti, which they attended from 2007 to 2011. In 2013 to 2014, they pursued a Professional Qualification in being an Operator for the production of paper and paperboard from Xelon Sinergetica SRL.

More recently, from 2020 to 2022, Sara enrolled at Falmouth University, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Illustration. In addition to their formal education, Sara has also acquired several certifications. In June 2021, they became an Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design and obtained the Adobe Certified Associate in Print & Digital Media Publication Using Adobe InDesign. Sara also acquired the Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design Using Adobe Photoshop certification. Furthermore, in November 2021, they completed the "Editing and Proofreading Made Simple" certification from LinkedIn.
