Stephen Cook

ASIC Designer at Raspberry Pi

Stephen Cook has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Stephen started their career in 1993 at The Technology Partnership and TTPCom as an Engineer, where they worked until 2006. From 2000 to 2001, they served as a Systems Engineer at GEC Electrical Projects. In 2006, they joined Broadcom, initially as a Principal Engineer - Systems, and later as a Senior Principal Engineer - Systems until 2014. After a brief break, they joined Xsilon as a Principal Design Engineer from January to August 2015. Stephen then worked at Raspberry Pi as an Engineer for a month in September 2015 before transitioning to their role as an ASIC Designer at Raspberry Pi Trading, where they are currently employed.

Stephen Cook completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Surrey, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Stephen later pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Digital Systems Engineering from The University of Manchester, attending from 1991 to 1992.
