Tyler Schwarz has a diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Tyler started their career as a Bakers Assistant at Delta Bakery and Safeway in 2005. Tyler later became a Chef Apprentice at La Belle Auberge in 2005 and worked there until 2009. From 2009 to 2010, Tyler worked as a Cook 2 at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. In 2010, they joined Figmint as an Executive Sous Chef and worked there for a year. Tyler then joined Rosewood Hotels & Resorts as a Sous Chef in 2011 and eventually became the Chef, overseeing menu development and operations. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Sysco Vancouver as a Chef and Business Resource Specialist, providing consulting services to customers. In 2015, Tyler joined Rational Canada as a Regional Manager, driving business growth and expanding the RATIONAL Chef network. Tyler currently holds the position of Director of Sales, Western Canada at RATIONAL AG, leading a team of regional managers and chefs to achieve sales growth.
Tyler Schwarz has pursued an Executive MBA degree from the University of Fredericton between 2021 and 2023, with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Prior to this, from 2005 to 2008, Tyler acquired a degree in Culinary Arts as a Red Seal Chef from Vancouver Community College (VCC). Tyler also holds a certification as a Certified Red Seal Chef granted by the Industry Training Authority (ITA).
