Ravelin Defense was formed through the union of ArmorWorks Enterprises and Fox Valley Metal Tech — two established defense manufacturers whose complementary capabilities now operate under a single identity to deliver integrated survivability and precision manufacturing solutions that no single-discipline supplier can match.

ArmorWorks built three decades of trust as a developer of advanced armor systems, crew protection, and blast-mitigation solutions across land, sea, air, and infrastructure platforms for the U.S. military and its global partners.

Fox Valley Metal Tech brought AS9100D-certified precision metal fabrication and structural manufacturing to the Navy's most consequential shipbuilding and naval weapons programs, including the Columbia-class submarine, Ford-class carrier, and Arleigh Burke destroyer.

Together, Ravelin Defense offers something the market has not previously had access to in a single supplier: survivability expertise and advanced manufacturing precision across every domain where the modern warfighter operates.

What Sets Us Apart

Ravelin Defense operates as a scalable prime — delivering the engineering depth, manufacturing scale, and program management rigor of a large prime, with the responsiveness and agility of a dedicated specialist. Design, engineering, manufacturing, and operational integrations support mission-critical solutions across the full program lifecycle.

Large enough to deliver. Focused enough to care.

Our Mission

To protect and enable warfighters and global partners by delivering mission-critical survivability solutions through innovative products and advanced manufacturing capabilities.
