RavenDB is an Open-Source, NoSQL, high-performance, multi-model distributed database designed for online transaction processing (OLTP). It is cross-platform and runs on Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and even low-grade hardware like Raspberry PI and ARM. Additionally, RavenDB supports binary attachments, time-series data, and distributed counters, natively scaling out via master-master replication. Incepted in 2009, it was the first Document NoSQL database to support ACID transactions.
