Melanie Player has a wealth of work experience. Melanie began their career in 2009 as a Retail Sales Assistant at Levi Strauss & Co., where they demonstrated a high level of customer service, exceeded weekly sales targets, and had accurate cash handling skills and attention to detail. In 2011, they worked as a Complaint Registration Officer at The Fair Work Ombudsman, where they had knowledge of the Nexus program and was responsible for sending correspondence to involved parties and organizing files. Later that same year, they worked as a Debt Allocation Officer at Centrelink, where they evaluated potential debt of clients and made recommendations to the Attorney-General's Department. In 2012, they worked as an English Language Assistant at Junta de Andalucía, teaching English to students aged from 4 - 18 years old. Melanie also worked as a Data Entry Officer at Allwater, where they had knowledge of programs SAP and Maximo and was responsible for responding to calls from contractors and to alarms on the pager. Finally, in 2017, they began working as a Senior Analyst and Analyst at RavenPack, the leading big data analytics provider for financial services. In this role, they helped financial professionals rely on RavenPack for its speed and accuracy in analyzing large amounts of unstructured content.

Melanie Player completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science in Psychology & Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts - BA in English & History from Flinders University between 2007 and 2010. Melanie has also obtained a number of additional certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Empathy and Emotional Intelligence at Work in February 2022, a Business Fundamentals: Project Management certification from The Open University in November 2019, and an Introduction to Translation Course (Spanish - English) certification from International House Barcelona in February 2018.
