Matt Alvarez has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Matt most recently worked as the Director of Sales at RavenVolt starting in February 2023. Before their time at GridLiance, Matt worked at NIPSCO as a Natural Gas Analyst from June 2014 to March 2016. In this role, they modeled energy portfolios for financial evaluations, implemented an Asset Valuation model, and used Monte Carlo Simulation to analyze correlation factors.

Matt's early experience includes working at United States Steel Corporation as an Operations Planning II from August 2012 to June 2014. Matt created supply chain plans, built Excel models for operational plants, and automated reports using SQL programming.

Matt Alvarez graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management in 2011. Matt'smajor subjects included Finance, Economics, and Accounting. Matt pursued postgraduate studies at Purdue University from 2011 to 2013, focusing on Computer Science and Information Systems. In addition to their educational background, Matt has also obtained additional certifications. Matt completed Levels I and II of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program from the CFA Institute in December 2011.
