Sander Komijn is a Senior Expert in Health Care at PUM, where they have been working since 2010, including project work in Gambia focused on hospital and ambulance service organization. From 2008 to 2020, Sander held multiple roles at RAVU, including Cluster Head and Crisis Coordinator, and has also served as Team Leader and Ambulance Nurse. They began their nursing career as an Intensive Care Nurse at UMCU and St. Antonius Hospital between 1984 and 1990, following their initial training as a nurse at Algemeen Ziekenhuis Zonnestraal from 1981 to 1984. Sander has contributed to ambulance training as a Group Instructor and PHTLS Instructor with SOSA from 1996 to 2008 and currently presides over tc Atalanta, a tennis club in Houten, since September 2017. Sander holds a degree in Health Care Business from IBO/Business School, completed in 2007.
