Jason Simpson

Jason Simpson is the CEO of RAW Charging, a leading funder and operator of electric vehicle charging infrastructure for UK brands in the Retail, Leisure and Hospitality sectors. They previously served as Vice President Strategy & Corporate Development Energy Ventures at Liberty Global (2017–2023), where they founded, acquired, incubated and scaled ventures in eMobility and Smart Energy. They are a Non-Executive Director at UNITE (2012–Present) and serve on the Advisory Board for the Annual Hospitality Conference (2024–Present), while having previously served on Enlit Europe’s Advisory Board (2017–2024) and founded Believ (2020–2023), formerly Liberty Charge. Earlier leadership roles included EMEA Head of Procurement & International Wholesale at Cable & Wireless Communications (2004–2014) and strategy consulting at Accenture (1996–1999). Their education includes a BSc Hons in Management from the University of Bath (1991–1995), an MSc Diploma in International Management from Rotterdam School of Management (1994), a PgD in International Relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS (1998–1999), and a PgD in Engineering & Manufacturing from the University of Cambridge (1995–1996).
