João Neves is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in backend systems and cross-platform technologies. As the founder of Goju Tech AB since January 2022, João focuses on building software for businesses. Previous roles include software engineering positions at Embark Studios AB, where backend systems for games were developed, and at Klarna AB, specializing in Erlang-based payment systems. A notable tenure at DICE involved maintaining production systems for well-known franchises using Scala, Python, and Go. João's expertise extends to leading a cross-functional team at Daily, creating a library for WebRTC integration across multiple platforms, showcasing a diverse skill set in languages such as Rust, C++, Kotlin, and Swift. Educationally, João holds a BSc and MSc in Software Engineering and Distributed Systems from Instituto Superior Técnico.
