Ryan Kemp

Ryan Kemp has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Ryan currently works as a Project Manager at RayGen since November 2021. Prior to that, from March 2020 to November 2021, they served as the Managing Director at Operational Advancement Solutions Pty Ltd, a technical consulting company based in Melbourne, Australia.

Prior to that, from March 2017 to February 2020, Ryan worked at O-I as a Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for successfully executing multiple concurrent major projects across the Asia Pacific region. Ryan collaborated with the project team to develop business cases, work scopes, estimates, and project plans. Ryan also led and managed the entire project team, including technical disciplines, administration, contractors, and consultants.

Before their role as a Project Manager, from October 2010 to February 2017, Ryan held the positions of Senior Process Control Engineer and Process Control Engineer at O-I. As a part of the global process control team, they played a vital role in setting and driving the technical direction for control systems, instrumentation, and obsolescence plans. Ryan also managed the execution of electrical, instrumentation, and controls projects across multiple manufacturing facilities in the Asia Pacific region.

From February 2007 to September 2010, Ryan worked as a Process Control Engineer at O-I. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining and providing technical support for control systems, PLCs, DCS, HMIs, SCADAs, instrumentation, and network infrastructure. Ryan also managed the repairs and maintenance budget and supervised engineering trades teams for implementing maintenance plans and fault finding activities.

Ryan's early years of work experience include the role of Electrical & Instrumentation Technician at O-I, where they performed maintenance and fault-finding activities on EI&C systems from January 2004 to February 2007. Additionally, they performed minor programming, installation, and repair works as required.

Overall, Ryan Kemp has a strong background in project management, technical consulting, operational excellence, and quality services across various industries, including container glass, beverage, packaging, manufacturing, construction, and education.

Ryan Kemp began their education in 2005 at RMIT University, where they studied electrical and instrumentation. Ryan continued their studies at the same university from 2006 to 2010, this time focusing on electrical engineering. Additionally, in 2007 and 2008, they attended the University of Ballarat to expand their knowledge in competitive manufacturing.
